The largest city and the capital of this island that is Fort de France is providing residence to around one third of the entire population; 360,000 people live here.
A mild temperature can be felt on this island throughout the year where the temperature is always around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Alize is the tropical breeze that helps in keeping the atmosphere cool over here along with frequent rain showers especially in the Fall.
Vegetation is focused a lot in the rainforests of Martinique where mango trees, bougainvillea, coconut palms, poinsettias, and hibiscus can be commonly seen along with many more plants. This island is a big hub for producing fruits such as custard apples, avocados, papayas, bananas, and pineapples. Martinique’s personality also benefits a lot from the flavorful food available here; there are several cuisines and great restaurants to eat at.
